COVID-19 Resources for Oakland, CA Seniors

COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus, has had a profound effect in our city (and worldwide!). The City of Oakland has created a list of services available to Seniors to help keep you comfortable during the shelter-in-place. Many people find this situation stressful and become concerned when they are unable to satisfy their basic needs. The Oakland Mayor’s Commission on Aging and the Department of Aging and Adult Services are working together to ensure our community has resources to help ease anxiety.

One Degree is another partner who has provided County-wide information on usable resources in Bay Area communities:

In an effort to help those most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, One Degree has created a comprehensive resource guide in English and Spanish for the Bay Area: www.1degree.org/covid-19. We are updating it M-F at 2 pm, releasing web and PDF versions in both languages. We hope to add more languages soon!
