Building a Livable Oakland for Seniors

Here is an article I recently posted to LinkedIn, highlighting the Livable Oakland work I’m doing with the Oakland Commission on Aging. As the percentage of people over the age of 55 continues to increase almost daily, it’s of great importance for cities around the country to reevaluate their support structures for the community. We are receiving incredible insights from our seniors of Oakland that will only help to ensure the city can serve the needs of all its residents. Follow the link below for more details. You should also check back with this site for more information as we continue our listening sessions with the community.

The next session will be this Saturday, September 29 at the West Oakland Senior Center (1724 Adeline St Oakland, CA)
